Job Description – Administrator – MOT & workshop

Due to the continued expansion at Anderson Commercials, we are looking to recruit a Workshop Administrator to work from our base in Ellistown, Coalville.

The Role

– Booking MOTs for both cars, light commercials and heavy goods vehicles
– Booking customer vehicles in for various offered services such as washes, tacho calibration, maintenance and repairs
– Invoicing and taking payment for services carried out
– Working with workshop controllers to provide customer updates, quotes and recommendations
– Front of house duties including greeting customers, taking calls and answering email queries

The Candidate

– The correct candidate will have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, working alongside both the light vehicle and heavy good vehicle workshops
– The correct candidate will be polite and approachable manner for both phone and face to face bookings and also be computer literate
– Previous experience in an office or garage environment
– Proficient in MS Word and Excel
– Must have strong organisational skills
– Ability to work alone and as part of a team

Working Schedule

– Working hours are Monday to Friday 08:00 to 16:00 and 10:00 to 18:00 on a rotating shift pattern. Saturday 07:30 to 13:00 on a 1 in 3 basis.
– Overtime opportunities dependant on workloads

Our well-equipped workshops can take all vehicles from motorcycles, cars, light commercials and heavy goods vehicles.

Our other services also include vehicle breakdown and recovery operated by a dedicated team of recovery specialists with a fleet of recovery units from fully equipped single car units, multi car transporters and heavy goods recovery units.

Our workshops are based on our multi-site operation in Ellistown, Leicestershire.
